Can I work at a daycare center or teach at a Montessori school based on these courses?
In Australia, 50% of early childhood educators in centers need to have an approved Diploma level education and care qualification (or higher), and all other educators need to have an approved Certificate III education and care qualification. Centers must also have an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) with an approved ECE qualification. The AMTI course is stand-alone and provides vital learning about Montessori theory and practice for educators and teachers who are already working in the field or have completed a generic qualification.
